Found these two kittens in a dog park
Didn’t plan it but I’m a cat mum now.
On Saturday, my sister and I were leaving the dog park when a couple showed us a ginger kitten they had spotted crying under a large blackberry bush. When we approached it disappeared into the bush where it couldn’t be reached. At least not without tearing up our skin. We spotted a second kitten soon after. The kittens kept calling and coming out of the bush only to disappear if anyone approached. It took me almost an hour to coax them close enough to catch with YouTube videos of mummy cats calling and wet cat food.

I believe they were strays with a mum, not abandoned kittens, but leaving them in a dog park seemed too dangerous.
They are timid, but not panicky, very quiet and starting to play with each other and their environment. My vet estimates they are no more than 4 weeks old.
I have named them Hattie and Ralph.
If anyone has experience raising kittens this young, I’d love to hear your experiences and advice.

They’re such perfect little potatoes 🥹

These little guys seriously look like two fluffy potatoes with eyes and tiny paws attached. Everything about them is ridiculously adorable, from the scruffy orange fur to the confused little baby faces hiding in that bush. Kittens somehow always manage to look both helpless and mischievous at the exact same time. The best part is knowing they are only going to get cuter as they grow up. Soon they'll turn into full-sized orange cats with bigger fluff, bigger personalities, and probably even bigger chaos energy.

They are precious! What a gift. They will help raise each other. I had a five week old kitten come to my door one day what a handful. The kitten lady is good on youtube I hear.

Dear Human -
As the human representative of the CDS, it is my job to deliver messages from our Feline Overlords. They wish to relay their approval of the placement pictured here, and with the knowledge that you have a mixed household (rabbit and dog), they are extra pleased.
Please be aware that while kittens do have a move in their repertoire called the "bunny kick", they are not to be fed lettuce, alfalfa, or other mixed greens.
Again, the CDS wishes to relay their pleasure at this impromptu placement, and will mark your file as Current Caregiver so as to not overwhelm you with potential future placements, although accidents do happen.

The Cat Distribution System absolutely did its job here. Two tiny orange kittens went from hiding under a blackberry bush in a dog park to getting a safe home, regular meals, and brand-new furry siblings in one afternoon. That was an unbelievable upgrade package. Somewhere out there, the CDS crossed this mission off a clipboard and moved on to emotionally ambushing another unsuspecting human with a kitten in a parking lot or behind a dumpster. The system never rests.

Cuties!! Those two are past the intensive care neonatal bottle feeding stage so that should make things easier for you to manage. Kitten Lady on YT. Jackson Galaxy videos to learn about cat behavior and the importance of having an enriched environment.
Hopefully your dog is ok with the new family members! Congrats and have fun with them!

Way too cute. Dangerous cuteness over loading

These cats are just way too adorable for their own good. The tiny orange faces, the little baby paws, the fluffy fur, the dramatic hiding in the bush like miniature woodland creatures, all of it is ridiculously cute. They already look like they are about to cause trouble together as a team too. One orange kitten is chaotic enough, but two tiny orange siblings basically guarantee future nonsense. It is impossible to look at these little guys and not immediately want to scoop them up.
